Inclement Weather:

For Practices:

Call 703-435-6800 x2138. This is the inclement weather hotline number. If there is no new announcement, then practices will be conducted as usual. For the morning swimmers, We will try to have a message posted around 9PM regarding the next day. During the day a message will be posted by 1:00 PM regarding afternoon and evening practices. Do not call the community center as the Commanders do not always follow the community center schedule, and the community center staff is not aware of Commander schedule changes. Do not leave a message on the hotline voice mail as it is not monitored.

If you are unsure about the conditions, especially for teen drivers, please err on the side of safety. 

For Swim Meets:

You need to check the PVS web site at www.pvswim.org for information about meet changes or cancellations due to weather. It is recommended that you check the web site the day before every meet session you are scheduled to attend, regardless of the weather, to make sure there have been no changes. Checking the web site will be much quicker than any other method to get current information. If you don't see any announcements or changes, then nothing changed.
